About Brent Skinner

Brent has practiced law in Dunn County, Wisconsin, since 1974, focusing on estate planning, trusts, probate, real estate transactions, business formations, and other transactional legal matters. He also served as Dunn County Family Court Commissioner from 2010 to 2019.

Throughout his career, Brent has been an active member of the community, serving on several nonprofit and business advisory boards across Dunn County.

Outside the office, Brent enjoys expressing his creativity through art.  He also enjoys traveling, gardening with his wife Denise, and spending time with their two children and grandchildren.

With decades of experience and a deep commitment to his clients, Brent embodies integrity, compassion, and a genuine dedication to helping others.

About Mike Moseler

Mike began his career in 1999, working alongside his father in the insurance and investment industry, where he developed a deep understanding of financial planning and client service. In 2004, he entered a partnership that allowed him to work closely with an attorney, an experience that sparked his passion for the legal side of helping people.

Motivated to expand his ability to guide clients through life’s most important decisions, Mike attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, earning his law degree in 2011. In 2017, he joined Brent Skinner at Skinner Law Firm, LLC, bringing years of financial expertise and a client centered approach rooted in trust and understanding.

Mike applies the same dedication he brought to the financial industry to his legal practice, offering compassionate, practical, and ethical guidance. His goal is to stand beside his clients in their time of need, helping them navigate difficult decisions with clarity and confidence. Whether assisting with estate planning, probate, business matters, or trust services, Mike’s focus remains the same: to be a trusted advisor who genuinely cares about the people he serves.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Amy, and their two boys. He enjoys being outdoors, golfing, hiking, and attending his sons sporting events.  Mike is also an enthusiastic fan of all Wisconsin sports teams.

About Kris Broten

Born in Menomonie and raised in the rural Prairie Farm area, Kris has been a valued member of Skinner Law Firm, LLC since September 2000. As a Legal Assistant, she supports the firm in a variety of areas, including estate planning, probate, real estate, and business law. Her responsibilities also include handling office financials, billing, accounts receivable, and preparing and reviewing legal documents.

Married for 37 years, Kris takes great pride in her family and the two successful children she and her husband raised, both of whom live and work in Minnesota. In her free time, Kris enjoys reading and traveling with family and friends.

About Jamie DeHusson

Jamie joined Skinner Law Firm, LLC in 2025, bringing experience in project development, marketing, administration, and office management. Born and raised in Barron, Wisconsin, after graduation she went on to school for Marketing and Sales, earning an associate degree in 1998.

Married to Mark since 2002, Jamie is the proud mom of two grown children, both business owners who live in the Eau Claire area. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, baking, spending time with her two Brussels Griffon pups, and cheering on all Wisconsin teams, especially the Green Bay Packers.

About Holly Phillips

Holly Phillips grew up in Menomonie, Wisconsin and is currently attending Chippewa Valley Technical College, where she is pursuing her education with plans to graduate in May. She is excited about the opportunity to grow with Skinner Law Firm, LLC and hopes to transition into a full-time role following graduation.

Holly married her husband in 2020 and is the proud mother of four beautiful children. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and caring for her many animals.
